2009 California Firefighter Memorial: Oct 17

Each year, fallen brothers and sisters are added to the memorial in a ceremony attended by uniformed firefighters, family members and dignitaries from throughout California come together in remembrance of those who paid the ultimate price to protect the lives and property of Californians.

Sadly Jeffrey Powers and Clarence Grimm, Marin firefighters who died in the line of duty, will be added to the memorial in 2009.   Their names will be added to the memorial October 17, 2009 in a ceremony honoring all California firefighters who have made the ultimate sacrifice.  Uniformed fire personnel, friends and family are encouraged to attend.  IAFF Local 1775 can help assist family members who would like to attend.  Please contact This email address is being protected from spambots.
