Edward Kelly, 1946-2007
With deepest regret and sorrow, Marin Professional Firefighters reports the passing of Edward Kelly, Local 1775 Treasurer, recently retired Ross Valley Fire Captain, Fairfax native, and loving grandfather and husband.
As one of the most generous and gregarious souls we have ever known, Ed blessed us all with his smile and companionship for nearly 40 years, through his service to Fairfax Fire Department, Ross Valley Fire Department, and Marin Professional Firefighters.
Ed lost his battle with job-related multiple-myeloma November 27, 2007, with wife Carmen and daughter Colleen at his side.

Ed presents a check frrom IAFF 1775 to the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation in May, 2007, while himself battling cancer.
Funeral Information
Ed Kelly's service will be at St. Rita Church, 100 Marinda Dr., Fairfax (cross street of Sir Francis Drake Blvd.) beginning at 1030, on Monday, December 3rd, 2007.
Active and Retired Firefighters are respectfully asked to attend in Class A uniform.
There will be a reception immediately following at Deer Park Villa, 367 Bolinas Road, Fairfax.
The procession will begin at Chapel of the Hills, 330 Red Hill Ave., in San Anselmo at approximately 1000. If your department would like to provide an engine for the procession, please contact Battalion Chief Brian McCarthy at 415-601-9095 to confirm details.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the Hematology-Oncology Clinic at UCSF, 400 Parnassus Ave., San Francisco, CA 94143.
