Texas Firefighter Dies While at Station
A Val Verde County firefighter died on Aug. 12 while working at a fire station, according to USFA.
Lt. Larry G. Nelson, 61, fell from a small step ladder at Station 3 in Del Rio just after noon.
The cause of death is still undetermined.
